2. Hello there! I love your curry sauce, and was just wondering whether it's possible to buy it from your distributor and/or get some from one of the shops? Cheers

3. Firstly, please bring back mayonaisse sachets. More importantly, please please please start selling mcdonalds bbq sauce and mcchicken sandwich mayonaisse by the jar, they are both delicious! I know you say that the mayo is just hellmans extra light, but it can't be! the one on the mcchicken sandwich tastes sweet where as the hellmans one doesn't. Keep up the good work!
McDonald’s is pleased to hear you are enjoying the sauces so much, but all our sauces are made exclusively for the use in our restaurants. With regards to mayonnaise, McDonald’s provided it in the past, but stopped serving it as a dip because it wasn’t as popular with customers. However, its popularity as a condiment, especially with French Fries has not gone unnoticed. If demand from customers is strong enough, then McDonald's will seriously consider the possibility of seeing mayonnaise returning to restaurants. (Jan 09)

4. In some restaurants, like for instance in Abbingdon and Headington, Oxford, no mayonaise to accompany the french fries is served. Is that a UK-policy or is this a decision made by the individual franchise-holder? A second question is about the cheddar You use. In the Netherlands research was done to establish the contents of the cheese on Cheeseburgers. 30-40 % was not cheese, but a cheese analogue (containing palm-fats). Is the cheese You use in the UK a dairy-product?
McDonald's has provided mayonnaise in the past, but stopped serving it as a dip because it wasn’t as popular with customers. However, its popularity as a condiment, especially with French Fries has not gone unnoticed. If demand from customers is strong enough, then McDonald's will seriously consider the possibility of seeing mayonnaise retuning to restaurants. With regards to the Cheddar Cheese Slice (processed) used in McDonald’s products, the ingredients are as follows: vegetarian cheddar cheese (55 percent), water, butter, whey powder, milk proteins, natural cheese flavouring, emulsifying salts (E331 trisodium citrate, E450 diphosphates, E452 polyphosphates), salt, preservative (E200 sorbic acid), colour (E160a natural carotenes, E160c paprika extract). For a full ingredients list for any other McDonald’s food items, can be found online in 'Ingredients' which is in the 'Food' section of www.mcdonalds.co.uk. (Jan 09)

5. Why don't you do the mustard sauce anymore? I think if brought back will be more popular than before.
Unfortunately there are no current plans to bring back the Mild Mustard Dip. As you mention McDonald’s stopped serving the mustard sauce dip because it wasn’t as popular with customers as the other sauces. If however you really miss it you can contact the Customer Services team by visiting the ‘Contact Us’ section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk and let them know as they are always keen to hear your menu suggestions. 6. Hi, I seem to remember growing up McDonalds would issue little pouches of mayonaise, and for some reason this has ceased. If i want to eat a Mcdonalds Meal with mayonaise, I now have to source my mayonaise from other outlets, pubs/fast food chains etc. Please tell me why you have done this as it seems quite irrational, and mayonaise goes very well with your chips and your quite happy to issue other sauces (bbq, sweet n sour etc).
Firstly apologies for the delay in answering your question, the team has been very busy with all the questions that are pouring in and everybody is working hard to answer them all. McDonald's has provided mayonnaise in the past, but stopped serving it as a dip because it wasn’t as popular with customers. However, its popularity as a condiment, especially with French Fries has not gone unnoticed. If demand from customers is strong enough, then McDonald's will seriously consider the possibility of seeing mayonnaise returning to restaurants.
