1. Why did you not sue "Super size me" for being so bloody retarded? Any scientist who's worth their salt will know that experimenting whilst changing two variables will give you skewed results! It's not the McDonalds; it's the stopping exercising that made him fat! Bring back supersized! Let the fat, low will powered losers cry in their Bargain Buckets!
Thank you for your feedback. McDonald’s sees the film ‘Super Size Me’ as a personal experiment by a filmmaker, based on eating too much while doing far too little exercise. Of course, films like this can affect peoples’ perceptions of McDonald's. However, the film offered just one side of the argument and McDonald's believes that people have the right to make up their own mind based on the facts. This is the reason why we set up this website, to give people the opportunity to ask questions that they might have about McDonald's, so that they can make an informed choice. The obesity issue in the UK and other parts of the world is both serious and complex, but one that ultimately depends on individual choice and circumstance. We provide our customers with nutritional information to assist with their food choices and offer a menu that accommodates most tastes and dietary requirements, including options like salads and toasted deli sandwiches. In addition, McDonald’s is a firm advocate of a balanced diet and an active lifestyle, both of which are proven to be effective in tackling obesity. With regards to Super Size menu options, McDonald’s has not made any changes to its restaurants as a result of ‘Super Size Me’. In fact, McDonald’s stopped offering super size portions in the UK, as they were no longer popular. Unfortunately there are no current plans to bring super size options back to the McDonald’s menu. 2. Hello. I enjoy Mcdonalds. I used to love occasionly getting a super size meal. however 1 why have you let fat people ruin it for the rest of us? 2 why have you let the minority ruin it for the majority? 3 What is so special about the fattys and so bad about the skinnys?
Thank you for your question. McDonald's does not discriminate against anybody visiting its restaurants. Currently there are no plans to re-introduce super sizes to the McDonald’s menu. Super Sizing in the UK is no longer available simply because there weren't many customers taking up the offer. By the time Super Sizing was stopped, it accounted for less than 0.1 percent of all UK sales. (September 2009)
